Friends

It seems like all my life I have been searching for friends that I could call my own. I have had a few but it always seems that I always end up giving a lot more than I receive. I think I finally have friends that I can call my own. So maybe it just takes time for me to make friends-I will have lived here now for 9 years.

This realization came to me yesterday. One of my friends has hired me a house cleaner until Diego arrives. The house cleaner is another friend but I am just so amazed that this is happening to me. When Rosana was born the only support we got was from Mary who came and cooked us Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday.

So the second realization is that I have always had family as friends but I finally have friends that I would consider family-not just because of the housecleaning but because they truly care about me and my family.

Family Reunion 2008

They provide ribs, chicken, vegetable and we bring misc potluck. They do have a swimming pool, rec room with pool table, free coffee, small store with some supplies, miniature golf ($3/round), deer and bears.

March Prayers

Hi--I am starting the blog post for the Family Prayers for March. I pasted in Lyle and Jenny's and added my own.

• Lyle & Jenny- We would like to pray in thanksgiving for safe travels, for everyone who came home for the Memorial and the chance to visit everyone. Also we continue to Pray for Tracy & Yvonne and that Aunt Phyllis may Rest in Peace. We continue to Pray for Jenny's Aunt Emma Jean and for Dakota Matt for whom I am an RCIA sponor. Also I am planning a Retreat for our Youth RCIA canidates on March 9th. Please Pray for the canidates and for me as well. We also continue to pray for Our Friends Foster Girls and their family. We would also like to pray for our friend Anthony Patch who is undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumor.
• Mary & Mike- Thank you, God, for the life of Aunt Phyllis and for the time we shared with extended family at her memorial gathering. We pray in gratitude for your providence, for greater awareness of your presence, and for where there is conflict, peace and reconciliation.
• Virginia: Javier's co-worker JJ's daughter Maddie was just diagnosed with leukemia She is just 3 months old.
• Myron For Genevieve on her birthday, for all Cath's grandparents, that things go well at work so I can be home more, for all the expectant mothers.
• Glen Cronks: Health of Lou Pritchett, The success of Our Lady Books and Gifts, Mr. St. Hilaire in Kennewick who is losing his memory to an unknown causeHealth and Holiness for all our family; For our Priests, Clergy, and religious vocations. For an independent livelihood (On our land if God's willing) For Mike Wetherell, owner of the house we’re building, who just had two debilitating strokes
• For the health of Virginia and Javier’s baby.
• For The Repose of Aunt Phyllis’s Soul and for her family.
• For Vannessa, Aunt Josie, and Uncle Louie’s health and for all of our aunts and uncles.

Great Idea

Hi Cronk Family!
I think a blog is a great idea.
This is an easy way to share news and upcoming events.
People can publish links to articles if they want to share them.
Discussions would all be in one place, so people who want to join in could follow the flow of the discussion more easily. It would be more organized, and yet reduce the number of e-mails. We can easily access the information and not have to search through old mail, or worry about accidentally deleting e-mails.
Another great thing is that all information would be stored and organized in one place, not in bits and pieces on our own computers.
So...I'm all for it. It's easy, once you sign in. Have the computer save your password so you don't have to sign in every time. then just click post for your new message.

Just click on the little picture above where you type the post then browse for a photo and add it. You can choose the size of it and the positioning.



To make your post look pretty click on the compose button that is in the upper right corner right above the preview button. You will have the options to change the color or size of your type.

When in the Edit Html mode you can type links in by pushing Control/shift/a. A little screen will pop up and you can type in the link. When your link appears you can type the title like link in between the carrots at the end of the code that the blog created. The first times I did this I just went to edit posts and copied one that someone else had done.

Sacraments

I always hear at the last minute that someone is making thier first communion or getting confirmed. I heard Viviana is having her first communion in May. Are their more? You all know that I am not good at sending cards or gifts but I do like to think of you all and pray for you. It would be nice to know when these speical days are going to take place.
